Sky High is the first full-length track from Producer/DJ H. Blendz. It is self-produced and written, and the video was shot and edited by his company, Heatin The City Media. In the song, Blendz talks figuratively about lifes obstacles and how he stays motivated to do his best at all times. The track samples Will Smith talking about the merits of working hard and how having a a positive and determined mindset will always yield results. As Blendz rhymes over a trap-infused soundscape complete with everything from strings, pianos, and choirs to stuttering drums and rolling hi hats, he makes sure to paint a picture of his hometown of Brooklyn, NY and how it shaped him growing up. After the 3:15 mark the track transitions into a slower, harder hitting track, but the message stays the same: do better at every chance and never give up. It is a refreshing message seldomly found in todays music.
