Slapping boomerang on Congress vote bank politics.. Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind chief Mehmood Madani has attacked the Congress accusing it of stoking communal fears in order to gain votes. Madani has said that not just the Congress, but some regional parties too are doing the same. He also said that these parties were spreading fears about Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi unnecessarily in order to gain votes. He had said this while speaking at a conference on the demand for reservations for Muslims in Jaipur. Cong as JuH accuses the party of stoking fears against Modi When asked about his comment, Madani said, The Congress cannot scare Muslims to get votes from them. They will have to win votes on the basis of performance and promise. I can say with confidence that the Congress government in Rajasthan has killed Muslims in cold blood, he added. Questioning Congress stand on secularism, Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind chief has hit hard on the ruling party, saying it is raising fears about the Gujarat Chief Minister only to secure support of Muslims.
