Slave mentality to Entitlement mentality. The slave mentality came from those slaves who choose to remain working for their masters with the fear of not surviving on their own and with the agreement to continue providing for them while they work the plantations. They still needed someone to tell them what to do as they felt lost. Remain dependent on their masters even being freed. Creating time after time their entitlement mentality The slaves who moved out from the plantations actively worked to sustained themselves. They took their freedom because they truly understood the price of it. Those slaves that moved on did not continued the slave mentality. They created a mind of their own to survive. They created the own initiative to move on without their oppressors. Therefore did not created an entitlement mentality They are allowed to believe what they want, say what they want and do want they want to reach their goals.
