Slow, Slow, Slow Red and Green Loops this morning... Spent a hour and a half reflecting on the date (9-11) and the blessings we have living in this country. Humbled by the sacrifices of those who protect us both civilian and military and that really soaks in when I ride right next to the Fort Custer National Guard base and hear them practicing for their duties that they so willingly accept. I also have to reflect on those who send our heroes into harms way. Wondering if maybe we have grown too big for our britches as my dad would say. Seems nowdays we are all to quick to use military force to inflict our beliefs on the rest of the world. I hope the current administration who campaigned on ending military involvement in Iraq and Afganistan thinks twice before involving us in another forign conflict without concrete evidence of Syrian Government abuses. Beyond a reasonable doubt might not be enough this time...
