Slowly but surely, John and I are beginning to return to a normal - TopicsExpress

Slowly but surely, John and I are beginning to return to a normal life. We went to our Strasburg, VA farmhouse this weekend to prepare some things for the winter. There are so many things I have always relied upon him for, and actually took for granted. This was one of them. He wanted to start his tractor, and honestly I wouldnt know how. I am the zero turn gal in the family and know nothing about his machinery. He didnt hesitate in the procedure and successfully turned the front end bucket upside down to keep the elements out. I was ecstatic to witness his continued recovery. He amazes me constantly! We couldnt spend much time there due to the cold weather and the 5 hour round trip timing, but we accomplished a lot. We were then able to stop for a visit with my sister, Barbara, whom we havent been able to see since Johns injury. What a joy to be able to see her and her husband David. We left with an incredible gift from the two of them! We are mall walkers now that the weather is too cold to be outside for long, which effects his head. I jokingly remarked that I have been forced to get into better physical shape. Ugh! He is anxious to have a full recovery. I constantly remind him of how far he has come and that hes going to require patience. I stop several times a day to pray for him. I believe God must have an incredible plan for him!
