Smoke from the King Fire continues to affect the Truckee Meadows this evening with poor visibility. This is the view from the NWS office in North Reno at 615 PM. The first photo is looking SSW toward downtown Reno and the second SW toward Galena Ridge. If you are sensitive to smoke and poor air quality, please stay indoors. Similar to last night, the smoke should slowly dissipate overnight. However, the smoke is expected to return again tomorrow afternoon.
