Snakes lurking around Springfield Police Station - pic attached. Cops are reportedly in fear of this slithery customer as theyve posted the following message on their official Ipswich website: There is an active ‘snake in the grass’ that has been intimidating those in and around the Springfield Police Station (actually located in the suburb of Augustine Heights). For those aware of the issue (as so many appear to have a fear of snakes), we believe it has moved on and into another area of Augustine Heights (last seen heading behind the police station). Anyone with a suggestion for a nickname if the snake returns? Not sure if the Station Senior Sergeant Geoff Noller (pictured) really loves or hates snakes!
