Snap counts: Biggers to the bench Here’s a look at who played how much against the Packers (snap counts via Pro Football Focus): Offense 61 snaps QB/O-line: Robert Griffin III, Trent Williams, Kory Lichtensteiger, Will Montgomery, Chris Chester, Tyler Polumbus all played 61 Keep your fingers crossed; so far, so good for the offensive line depth not being tested yet. Wide receivers: Pierre Garçon 53, Santana Moss 37, Leonard Hankerson 30, Josh Morgan 26, Aldrick Robinson 10 Hankerson got the start over Morgan but Hank was targeted only three times to six for Morgan. Tight ends: Jordan Reed 29, Logan Paulsen 25, Fred Davis 16 This is an eye opener, with the rookie Reed getting more snaps than either Paulsen or Davis. Reed has made a few nice catches, including one for a touchdown on Sunday, while Davis has two drops. Running backs: Alfred Morris 38, Roy Helu Jr. 23, Darrel Young 18 Some more work for Morris this week, even after the Redskins trailed by a substantial margin. Lack of running situations, though, means a lack of snaps for Young. Defense 74 snaps Defensive line: Barry Cofield 54 Stephen Bowen 42, Kedric Golston 33, Phillip Merling 16, Chris Baker 11 When the Jarvis Jenkins suspension was announced near the start of training camp it was thought that Golston and Baker were neck and neck for the starting job while Jenkins was out. In two games, Golston has twice as many snaps as Baker, 68-34. Linebacker: London Fletcher 74, Ryan Kerrigan 74, Perry Riley 74, Brian Orakpo 69, Darryl Tapp 5 It might be good for Fletcher to take a few plays off every now and then, especially in passing situations. But with Keenan Robinson on IR there aren’t any good alternatives at this point. Defensive back: Josh Wilson, DeAngelo Hall, Bacarri Rambo all played 74, David Amerson 51, Reed Doughty 47, Brandon Meriweather 25, E. J. Biggers 2 With Meriweather out in Week 1 Biggers started and played all but a handful of snaps. This week Meriweather went out in the first half but it was Reed Doughty getting almost all of the plays.
