Snatchers injure woman in Sector 15. Two unidentified motorcycle-borne accused tried to snatch a chain of an elderly woman near her house in Sector 15, Chandigarh, on Friday evening, causing her serious injuries. Urmila, in her early sixties, was returning from her evening walk when the accused struck. "They pushed her from the behind and tried to snatch her chain. She fell down and her head stuck the footpath. Her neighbours took her to Government Multi-speciality hospital in Sector 16 in an unconscious state," said a police official. The victim is a widow and stays alone. Her children are settled in Mumbai. Guard stabbed to death: A security guard employed with a factory in Phase I, Industrial Area, was stabbed to death and another employee injured when three assailants barged into the unit on Thursday night.TOI
