Sneak preview for ArchiFest: On the Collective Intelligence panel, our Kampung Chief will be sharing how the Kampung Culture embodies what many call #Design Thinking or Participatory Design. Its often about understanding culture and context before you even know where to start to have ideas. At GUI, were excited about many hands, heads and hearts contributing towards a larger vision. Many participate. Even in the masterplanning of our newly-acquired land, our Kampung Architects engaged in Participatory Design. However, we discovered something was missing.. something that the Kampung Culture has :) And, we iterated and applied the Kampung Culture in the way we craft #experiences from Hackathons to Camps to Practicums.
