Snow in the south! Why wont the people learn time and time again? When this is obviously coming .......STAY HOME! KEEP YOUR CHILDREN HOME. Work places hold your balls in their hands and threaten you with everything possible just to get you to be there. IT ISNT WORTH IT. Your job isnt going to replace your vehicle when its totaled. Your job isnt going to care that you are in the hospital due to injuries received trying to get to work because youve been told youll lose your job if you dont show, Your job isnt going to care if you get killed while trying to get to it. The mere panic of your children being stuck at school, riding on a school bus, you not being able to get to them, why is this ok with you? If the weather doesnt arrive then great, but at least you tried to protect yourself and your family. If it does show up then you are home safe as well as your family. Atlanta cant handle this. It couldnt handle it many years ago. There are so many more people in and around Atlanta now and theyre all driving in and out every day. There are just too many things wrong with this whole fiasco that didnt have to be. Until Atlanta proper supplies an efficient means of transportation for the majority to use and feel good about using it, which will remove a very large number of personal vehicles from the interstates and local streets, this will always be the major thorn in everyones sides in these situations. It really is something most people can see coming in time to make that most important decision. Is it worth it to risk everything and go through this or stay home and be safe? I just dont see why its as difficult as its made out to be.
