Snowflake Community Hosts Christmas Spectacular - Freezing Snowflake has talent - and a lot of Christmas spirit. Tonight (Saturday, December 13 at 7:00pm) at the Snowflake High School Auditorium an encore performance of the wonderful program Freezing will be given for the public. Admission is $2.00, but you get way more than you pay for (how often do you say that this time of year?). The production features a number of skits, olio acts, Christmas carols, dancing and a rare form of comedy delivered by the host and hostess and several of the performers. The show is loosely based on the theme of the hit Disney movie Frozen, and a few of the characters of the film stop by. Julie Ann Moore, wife of Navajo County Government Affairs Director Hunter Moore gives a stirring performance with Cameron Byrd as they recreate the classic story of The Gift of the Magi set to a holiday version of the song Hallelujah. The story, told through ballet - shows a young couple with no money trying to deliver a holiday gift for the other. She cuts her beautiful hair to buy a chain for his pocket watch and he sells the watch to buy her combs for her hair. Very touching. Enjoy the video from the Friday night performance.
