So 2014 wasnt a bad year at all, although sadly I seemed to have spent nearly all of December either coughing or spluttering (missing at least 4 parties and a handful of nights out in the process. In fact Ill probably be drinking hot chocolate when the bells chime tonight). 2015 should be interesting... The project Im working on will be coming out, and Im confident that some people will really hate it (which is a sign that were doing the right thing :)). My current contract also comes to an end part way through the year and that will trigger a few changes... I havent decided what Ill do next but there already a few options on the table and invites floating around - and Im not short of things I want to do. In any case Ive been sorting things out to give myself as much flexibility as possible, and I feel more in control of where I want to head next than I have done for years :) Ga-Ma-Yo continues to be one of my better ideas, but I need to find a balance between all of the things we could with it and all of the things it can do well in the limited spare time I/weve got. But, as long as it continues to help people find work, land publishing deals, and get their games noticed, Ill be happy. Anyway, Happy New Year! Hope 2015 lives up to your expectations! xx
