TEAM CHRONO POST, ALL DISCUSSION GOES HERE - Im only going to make one of these for the time being. We are a separate group from the League so I dont want to flood this group with multiple Team Chrono posts. Thats kinda rude, haha. Awhile ago, before winter break, I was talking to Bruce about being a grunt in his gym. He joked that I should be the mob boss, like the Giovanni of Team Rocket. I realized this was a great idea. I was going to make it a Nordic theme until Jason suggested we use Lester Leftons clock tower obsession. So Team Chrono was born. The logo is a gear (clocks) with an infinity symbol/hour glass in the middle. The whole idea is for it to be time based. Cosplay style is dark Militaria Steampunk. There is a Pinterest board on the page for cosplay inspiration. If you create a persona to use in Team Chrono, I only ask that you follow those cosplay guidelines. I can help you find costume pieces if you need help. I know how to Steampunk on the cheap. Team Chrono is headed by Master Gadget (myself), a lawful evil mastermind out to capture Dialga in order to change the past for her own nefarious means. The exact reasoning for this is still a work in progress. :P She has a soft side with her Tyrunt, but is not a particularly approachable individual. The Team is not the same as the League, to repeat. We do not share the same rules. Our current rules are: 1. Dont use hacked Pokemon. 2. Dont be an asshat. That said, if you belong to Team Chrono but you wish to challenge the Leagues gym leaders, you will have to follow their rules. Fair is fair. This is honestly just a fun, silly story element to add to the League next semester where we get to pretend to be bad guys. Its not a very serious thing and its all in good fun. Storyline stuff will be played out like an immersive roleplay. Ill play my character in interactions with the League and such. Good times for all! Notes: 1. My character name is Master Gadget, never Mistress or anything like that. I used a masculine title on purpose. Im not going to yell at you if anyone messes that up. I just wanted to clarify. :P 2. There is no s in Chrono. This was just personal preference on my part. I just didnt like the s sound at the end. Ive seen this mistake a bunch. Again, just wanted to clarify. 3. We DO have specific types of Pokemon well be using, although this list has become pretty broad. Ill make a note to post this on the Facebook page later. 4. Ill flesh out the dont be an asshat rule to be less ambiguous, but I feel you guys can use your common sense on that one pretty well. 5. Just have fun with it! :) If youve never LARPd before, its kind of intimidating but its so much ridiculous fun.
