So... China Southern has so screwed up our flights with schedule changes that it has become impossible to make our connection - leaving us only 30 minutes to disembark (from the back of the plane, no less), get our luggage, drag our luggage through 4 - FOUR - separate inspections, check in our luggage for our next flight then make it to the final gate before boarding ends. Weve been on planes this size before, and it takes 30 minutes just from landing to empty the plane, nevermind all the other crap were expected to do. Meanwhile, China Southern tells us there are no other flights available, so we can expect to spend the night in a shitty hotel in Guangzhou at our own expense, while we also pay $1500 for an expensive luxury hotel in Hong Kong - which we can no longer actually expect to occupy - for that night.
