So, DogeParty. DogeParty is a fork of CounterParty. The difference is that DogeParty run on the Doge blockchain while CounterParty runs on the Bitcoin blockchain —which means essentially: — Greater speed of transaction — Less security — An attempt to save Doge through adding useful meta layers on top of it. Conclusion? Will be fun to follow :) Viacoin is a Bitcoin fork, which also forked CounterParty - calling it ClearingHouse - for the same reason as Dogecoin forked CounterParty: greater transaction speed. Viacoin however seems to be run by anonymous people in a semi centralised way, which doesn’t inspire great confidence. It also doesn’t seem to have the support community of Doge, nor the ‘proven concept’ in terms of a coin with at least a tiny bit of staying power. For those who don’t know what CounterParty is, please check out their website. It’s a meta layer on top of the Bitcoin blockchain which allows for, amongst other things, people to create their own tokens and crowdfund them, equity trade of those tokens (like a stock market), and multiple asset storage. https://counterparty.co/
