So FRUSTRATED and AGGRAVATED right now. Poor Gracie Belle has been through so much and today she got to come home and Fairmont ER did not send ANY papers with Sherry or Fax anything to Weston vet or Fairmont vet. Then the vet I trusted the most said he was surprised she had lasted this long. Sherry picked her up this morning at @ 6:30 as I did not get off work until 8am. She had called before she left home, but even after ER told me that treatment at 9:30 pm and one due at 1 pm. Not sure what kind of treatment and no way to find out. Just now found name of ER vet on call this morning. Shannon Wilfong is located at Paw Prints Vet Clinic. Called for info, but STILL waiting. Gracie also had a bag of medication, 3 bottles of pills that she could not be given due to the vomiting were missing and just found at Fairmont vet. I carried all of her meds with her, but Saturday, they brought her out the back door with IV line ( unhooked ) and IV bag to go back to ER. One lady had said they would send paperwork with me, but another (new to me) answered the doorbell on parking lot side and said they were faxing it. THANK GOD I got to ER just in time for them to call vet office to request fax as it was quitting time. It was hot, she was whimpering, and I did not even miss bag of meds. It took 3 or 4 phone calls, but PTL, meds found. Now, if we just knew what she needed earlier today.......... THANK GOD that my favorite (and only) son-in-law works in Fairmont and is willing to go get her meds. Paw Prints vet is in Morgantown, probably does not have info from ER to fax and no one is there until 6 pm. Of course, vets offices will be closed. I am NOT finished with my UNUSUAL ranting and raving, but I am running out of things to say. After all, these vets have united to save her so far. I just do not want her to miss what she needs. I am way more scared than angry. FRUSTRATED because I do not know what to do. AGGRAVATED that they put her through this. BLESSED that she is still alive. Just WANT her to get what she needs. PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYER!!!! THANKS!!!!
