So, Fox News calls Robin Williams a coward. Another blog I read, ( didnt even pay attention to who wrote it because it wasnt worth learning his name) called him selfish and stated that there was no disease, what Robin Williams did was a conscious decision. Really? Seemingly educated individuals that dont have a clue to the inner workings of depression, need not publicly chastise someone they know nothing about. For the record, depression IS a disease, difficult to manage, and can be a life sentence for many. It is lonely, isolating, and painful to not only those that suffer from it, but loved ones around them that feel so helpless as they watch the misery unfold. Those 2 idiots that reported their opinions, need to read up on the DISEASE and the lack of understanding about it. May they never suffer from it, or have a loved one who does. And to Robin Williams: You were such a gift to the Hollywood world- you made so many laugh, and cry with your unending talent. I am sure your journey to heaven was paved with so many you entertained, standing and clapping, as you smiled your way to the Pearly Gates. We will not cry because you are gone, we will smile because you were here. Peace at last.
