I wanna say thank you to every single person who made today the awesome day it turned out to be - I admit, I was slightly apprehensive about turnout, given the weather over the last few days, but you all got out of your pits, risked it, and your gamble paid off! All of you who entered the costume contest, those who bought raffle tickets, those who bought stuff in the auction, and those of you who simply came along, played and had fun - You lot ARE Section 8. thete literally would not be a skirmish site without you. Itd be me on my own in a wood. I wouldnt be having any fun, Id have nobody to shoot at or be shot by - And I certainly wouldnt have a whelks chance in a supernova of raising... *Drum roll* £1550 for charity! Bloody. Well. Played. In literal terms, as well as figuratively speaking, there. Granted, because of the charity stuff we had a bit more downtime than usual ( Thanks for understanding that we had a LOT more to deal with backstage than normal today! ), but again it seems like all the triggertime you did get, you all enjoyed. good reports from the hires, almost all the regs I spoke to had a good day - All in all, I only have one problem. What the hell is wrong with you people? NOBODY OPENED THE CAKES I BROUGHT FOR YOU?!?! Oh well... All the more for me :p Heres to the next decade! *Raises glass* *Passes out*
