So, I already did 5 of these, but I just got issued a 12, so Ill do 7 more. 1. When I was a child, I seriously thought I was British and the second coming of Rex Harrison after approximately 3,000 viewings of My Fair Lady, so I spoke with an English accent all the time. 2. I played football for a few years at one point in my life. Yeah, Im still as surprised as all of you must be. 3. I somehow developed a stutter around 4th grade thats been with me ever since. When I act, it never shows up unless I want it to, which is kinda weird. Im quiet, because I dont want to open my mouth and look like an idiot when I start speaking. Im incredibly grateful to those who suffer through it and dont make it seem like a big deal. 4. I cant do math past basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I pretty much threw in the towel after 6th grade once they brought in fractions. I was like Im out! Surprisingly, my little 6th grade self was right and Ive never had to use much of it since graduation. 5. My favorite movies when I was a kid were Terms of Endearment, Death Becomes Her, Carrie, and Nine to Five. I suppose one could call me mature for my age or, yknow, just a weirdo. 6. I made my first film when I was 10 called Killer, which was pretty much a bargain basement rip-off of Scream with me as a gender reversed Neve Campbell I guess. It was truly abysmal. This was before affordable home editing software, so we had to shoot in sequence and edit in camera. If we wanted music, my Mom had to stand out of frame with a boom box of scary music I recorded off the TV and press play when I told her. Id like to think Ive come a long way from those days. 7. I used to hook up 2 VCRs as a kid and make family safe versions of my favorite horror movies to bring over to my Grammies so that there wouldnt be anything too awkward. Im actually surprised Im not an editor, cause I really do enjoy it.
