So, I always see posts about how terrible peoples experiences are at fast food restaurants. First of all, I just want to say it disgusts me how people act as if those in the fast food industry are incompetent or inferior in some way. If you have a job then you are doing much better than a large majority of the United States. Doing what it takes to survive is admirable in all forms. At the same time, whatever you choose to do should be done with your 100%. I work overnight. Good customer service is hard to find in general, but especially so when you work hours that are less than favorable. Last night I went to Burger King for a friend. The lady who served me went by the name Tina. Tina was pleasant from the time that she took my order to the time that she gave me the food and told me she would see me again. I called the store to tell her how much I appreciated her exceptional customer care and found out how I could give her and my experience a review. I then went online to take a survey in which I could comment on my specific experience. She was ecstatic when I called her. I say all this to tell you how important it is to take the time and compliment people on a job well done. Life is hard. It sucks for everybody at some time. When you recognize someones good work youre more likely to receive that same courtesy every time. We get so wrapped up in the things that go wrong that we forget to take the time to appreciate the ones that go wrong. You take the time to complain and get the word out when you have a negative experience. Make sure you take that same time, if not more, when you have a terrific experience. The saying that you never know what someone else is going through goes both ways. Try to be positive and see what that gets you!
