So I am at LAX heading to Toronto. A frazzled guy comes up to me says his flight on Southwest to Pittsburgh was canceled due to the weather and Southwest cant get him another flight until Monday. He has no money and no credit cards. He spent the night in the airport. Hes a student and used up his travelers checks. He needed 100 bucks to stay at the Ramada until his flight tomorrow. Hes a chemical engineering student here for a job interview. So I gave him the 100 bucks and my biz card and he said hed mail me the money when he gets home. So here is the question.... did I do the right thing or did I get scammed?
