So I am from out of town and my car breaks down just north of Ridge Road on 19. I am stuck here for the weekend so I check into a nice hotel with a mini golf course out front. Now, what is there to do in this town. How cool would it be to go listen to some live music and just walking around on this beautiful night. I decide to walk south a half mile and check on my car that was hopefully safely parked at Wal Mart and caught live bands at Seaside, then catches, cross the bridge and see a nice view of a cool looking place Benchwarmers At Whiskey River and hear about another place that re-opened called the crab shack. Now that I am on this side of the street, I think I will head further south to Jillys Main St then walk downtown and hear music coming out of the Reef, then turn the corner and cool Cocktails Npr I missed Garry Shutt Category Three band last night but gonna check out Sidewinder tonight. Across the street is where Eric Anderson and Billy Isner did an acoustic thing last night who also hot the Boulavrd lounge jam on wednesday and Heather Smith poured the drinks, but tonight, they are electrified......with Roberto. Mark Alan might be there tonight, I think he is doing a Us Stones gig someone said and then another gig at Seaside. So now I work my way down to the sand bar and see Marcy Jones or maybe Sherrie Markle might be working. I hear about a place called Bourbon St on 19 but before I went, I stopped in at Up The Creek Pub and heard about their acoustic jams that sometimes is hosted by Mark Shane that is someplace in the mountains and plays with the Michael Allman Band with Shawn Paige joining him on Guitar. Its now the end of the night and for 5 bucks, get a cab ride back to my hotel. I found out the next morning that if I headed north last night, I would of hit Sams on the beach, Hurricane Hanks, the fishermans Shack were Lazyboy and the Rockers were last night and a few other places with live music. So I decide to head back to the Hooters area and go back to Seaside and see Eric Anderson And Mark Alan do another acoustic thing I thought to myself, wow what a good rotation this town has. Also hear about Jerimias jam in hudson and Nick Carpenters is laying down some mean slide guitar down at springers with Eric Fisher on Drums. Everybody is Everywhere. Blues Mike
