So I am presently outside of Kansas City, MO, here to celebrate the wedding of my nephew and niece-to-be in a quiet hamlet deep in the Heartland of America. When I spotted from a nook of the hotel lobby my beloved sister and brother-in-law approaching the entrance, in my infinite and regressive impulsivity I immediately jumped upon some furniture in reverse and served up a pressed ham from the lobby window in joyful greeting (Who could resist? Most people, I hope!). Somehow I failed to notice the kind and now somewhat shocked lady behind the desk, whom I thought was out of view at that moment. This after having shared earlier with her how I was not bunking with any other party goers since I wasnt in college anymore! She was good to remind me of this ironic statement after the escapade. Point of story: Humility stalks immediately in the path of bravado? Look before you leap? Who can say?! I share many thoughts, but few details of my life here, radically prone to privacy as I am, and this brief exposure should explain why! The well of irony is dug yet deeper than I ever imagined~ :)
