So I am stuck here after a long day with the moving, blah blah blah, and little sleep, and am starving with no food in the pantry. I have only my U-Haul truck. And except for pizza joints, nobody in this town delivers. WTH? Then I remember, my neighbor owns a Nepalese restaurant, so I call and his wife answers and says, "Derek? Here, let me let you talk to Amrit," the owner. I did not even identify myself. Now I have excellent Nepalese food being delivered. I will miss them, and especially their children, Nikki, a sixth-grader who has intelligence and maturity far, far beyond her years, and Amit, who is about the happiest 6-year-old boy you will ever meet.
