So, I am walking from the front of my house, after reading at the mailbox, and an old-as-dirt, silver-haired lady rolls into our back driveway. I walked in front of my yard to the entrance to meet her, and Staffords Deputy Unk. drove passed, staring at me. I gave my usual nod of friendliness, then met the old lady at the exit, and asked her kindly if I could help her. The old lady was lost and did not know where an elementary school was. And I didnt have a clue to its location. Then, deputy Unk., with a big crevice between her pearlies, pulled up and asked me whats going on. I explained that the lady didnt know where the school was, and I asked the lady where was that again, and she smirked like shed just leave deputy Unk. and I alone, and sat there. The deputy then asked where I lived and I replied, right there, shes lost and pulled in to my driveway. She then asked to see ID, my gun right on my hip, and her tone was very authoritive and rude, the lost lady second fiddle. I turned sideways, keeping my gun away from the buck-toothed inquisitor, and surely felt I couldnt leave to walk to work, and the older vagrant drove off. All this time, I felt- No, knew -that if I left, and knew I was well within my rights to, this deputy would escelate a simple situation and get herself hurt. I got a baby on the way, and want to be there for he or she. But I also refuse to allow a tolitarian dictator state to flourish; you are fully entitled to resist, reject and defend against any and all actions that violate your natural rights and freedoms, as they happen and not just in court, later. Her Sergeant was very kind and we discussed the differences between a Contact, Reasonable Suspicion, and Reasonable/Probable Cause. It was even explained that I wished no one to be hemmed up, but maybe some in-service training on the three differences would help in the future. He agreed and made sense about the matter- he definetly stated hed review her taped camera. My point is, how many know their own specified rights? How many people do not, yet vote anyway? If you give it away, they will take it, and then take some more! Know what you are, more than anything- then you may demand more from our elected leaders. And they didnt get their by accident, either- you put them there. That deputy not only dismissed the lost lady, she missed out on cultivating two, newer friendly contacts that might just save her life one day. And that is why all governments have failed, because they cease to be By the People, For the People.
