So I ask the question, because I have witnessed the answer now for 4 decades and counting. The question, “What does it mean for you if you always look to compare and contrast, compare and compete?” - you end up looking and noticing who has more than, who is greater than, who is on top of, who is better than, who is less than, who is beneath - and what does it bring when you pay attention to these things? It brings tremendous insecurity, that’s what. Life isnt something you “win at” - it’s something you partner with - in a way only you can. And if you learn to do it, without the overwhelming impact of “compare, contrast, and compete” - THEN you can know real and authentic contentment.
