So I bought a pig this fall at the farm and send the hams and bellies off to the butcher in town to process. I dropped that meat off on November 30th and was told they would soak in a brine for 3 weeks and then get smoked. Perfect I said, just in time for a Christmas ham. So I walk in today to get my ham and was told Id be lucky if I got it by New Years! Thanx D & E! There goes my Christmas dinner! Had to buy a ham at Marketplace today. My ham was HUGE, this ham is pitiful.
