So I bought this 68 Super Reverb from Guitar Center. The dude didnt know a whole lot about it but thought it had been blackfaced. Speakers were changed, the tube chart was partially missing and someone had swapped out the silver face plate for a black one but it still had the drip edge grill. I was on the road and in a hurry so for $1199, I took a chance on it. Took it apart tonight and found the filter caps were all blue Sprague Atoms but more importantly all the transformers were dated 40th and 48th week of 67 as were the pots. All cloth covered wires.
