So I bought this Kindle 9 inch fire HDX about a year ago. Nice, for what it does (FB, mail, cruise the web, e-books) . . . . and especially to buy stuff, and super especially from Amazon. But I recently got a message on bootup saying they were automatically installing a new OS . . . . Hooray! . . . . Right? Well, since that installation the dam thing keeps interrupting things several times an hour with the message says an app or website wants me to turn on my location function, which I have disabled, so it can better serve me. Yeah, no thanks. Screw that shit. If I want Amazon, or anyone else to know where I am Ill be sure and let them know. Im sure they know or can figure out where I am, but Im dammed Im gonna make it automatic for them. I dont need Amazons drones above me . . . .
