So I cancelled the event (not the campaign - its still active on Kickstarter) a couple of days ago cause I let the haters get to me. Im only human. And I didnt want to post anything cause I thought thatd make me look bad or some such nonsense. I thought, damn, is this all in my head? Perhaps no one cares about this, theres so much crap going on in the world, death, violence, or insert latest disempowering news update... So then, who cares about one insignificant person whos doing this music thing. Isnt everyone these days? Arent they all doing it to become well-known or something? And then I thought, MAN! Who CARES! I couldnt CARE LESS (holding back the urge to swear here) about doing this for popularity, that stuffs a lot of CRAP and is NOT why I choose to do this or share this. Hence why I dont buy likes, or kiss-ass. Its not about me, it never was. Its about the message. I am the instrument through which I choose to share the message. I dont give a shit (sorry-not-sorry) if you unlike the page, decline the event, or disbelieve in the possibility of my work. I admit it did hurt in the past, but now doesnt phase me the slightest. Despite all the tests and challenges Ive been though, nothing can stop this. Whether a million likes or 1, the point for me is to keep going, to serve. Hard work, time and connection to spirit have time and again assisted me to this point. So whatever happens, whether this campaign succeeds or not, nothing can stop this. And to those who do believe and encourage me forward, and have stood by me from the start, I thank you. So Im creating the event again. What ever happens, how ever it happens ... This Is Happening.
