So I come in my room and notice the cotton candy I put away for the boys has been disturbed. Knowing exactly who the culprit was, I asked, So who snuck into the cotton candy? Without hesitation Norman bows his head and confesses, me. Proud of my success in teaching them to always tell the truth I asked, Why did you sneak into it? He replies, Because I couldnt handle it. Thankfully his head was still lowered in regret so he couldnt see me fighting back the laughter so that I could properly discipline his misbehavior. A nice little talk about why that was wrong and a reminder that we must resist temptation did the trick. Then I dismissed him so I could die laughing! Well, thats my adventures of motherhood story of the day! And the moral is, always tell the truth and add some cute & clever in the mix and you might not get your butt whooped! LOL!
