So I decided not to tell Mason that Santa is real and all of that stuff for a few reasons... Even though it is fun, and society approves of it, I still believe a lie is a lie, and I really dont feel right lying to my kid, and would rather focus on Jesus` birthday. The second reason is, someone went up to Mason, tried to get him all excited about flying reindeer and Santa coming down the chimney, when Mason instantly looked at them like they had five heads, said No, reindeer cant fly, and Santa would never fit down a chimney, hes too big, thats silly, and concluded this on the spot without anyone ever telling him before that Santa and flying reindeer didnt exist. ...So, I think I will tell him the real story of St. Nick from many years ago who gave poor kids toys on Christmas, and explain that Santa is a fun way that society uses to celebrate Nicholas` generosity...I have such a logical kid :P
