So I did a cam swap on my car and when I went to drive it the car - TopicsExpress

So I did a cam swap on my car and when I went to drive it the car would miss really bad. It always had problems. The datalog showed a blm difference of almost 100 numbers on each side of the engine and stuff but it would kinda clear up and not miss some days almost like the opti was bad. Well I took it to the track an it went a 13.70 at 85mph and had a 1.80 60. The car blew a head gasket the first pass from having a warped head. Well I took the engine all back apart and put rings in it and got a set of heads and did basically an engine overhaul. But heres where it gets really nasty. When I took the pistons out to put the rings on. 5, yes 5 pistons had broken ring landings. Any clue what could have caused this? What could I expect the car to run once its back together with new pistons and what not? And 4 of the 5 were on the same side so I guess that caused my split blms. Ive never seen a car do this or do it and still run a 13.70. When I found it I didnt expect it to even move. It did drink a lot of oil and shove out the pcv valve and smoked and stuff. Everything was put together correctly during the cam swap though. When the engine was pulled back apart everything looked fine except the pistons. Any help is appreciated.
