So I figured Id share this with the community... Back in April, I was still a student at Cal Poly who had done several HvZ events but hadnt ever considered doing a larp. Then one day, someone posted on the Orange County HvZ Facebook group the link to the DR SoCal website. Jason and I both looked at it, read the rule book, and independently reached the same conclusion: We need to check this out. We then went to Wyrd Con to try it out and the rest, as they say, is history. Anywho, back to my reason for posting. When I was reading the rule book, I had gotten a song stuck in my head and was listening to it on repeat. Since then, Ive associated that song with the game and the struggles that we have to go through in game to actually get stuff done.
