So I finally saw dexters series finale. I thought it was a good ending and here is why. First dexter is super duper smart in season 1 until he has a human emotion and stops his brother from killing his step sister. Season 2 he almost gets caught and cheats on Rita. When doing this he becomes a lot smarter eventually framing dokes. Season 3 I think it was Rita gets pregnant and now dexter becomes a family man eventually getting married and Rita gives birth right into season 4. Dexter hunts the trinity killer and tries to learn to balance how be a serial killer and a parent and husband. He then becomes aware that he actually has emotion and loves his family. Then trinity killed Rita and bam season 5. To make this short Im going to skip season 5 6 7 because really whatever he kills people bangs more blondes so on so on. Season 8 dexter becomes a complete human. He doesnt need to kill and loves his new serial killer girlfriend and his son. He and deb are super cool again best friends forever and so on. Then shit hits the fan Debra dies his blonde girlfriend leaves with Harris and he rides his boat into a hurricane. Then he is a lumberjack the end. This show was trying to show that the more dexter became human the more stupid he became. Showing that emotions and human contact and reacting on emotions is stupid. When he starts to developed feelings that was his downfall. Dexter was fine before he was involved in other people. If you watched all the seasons it shows this as I explained. The ending was trying to explain was that having feelings and being attached to people was to overwhelming for him and in the end it started getting people he loved killed. So he was better to disconnect himself again and become isolated. Bam you just knowledged. Or because star is retarded and made demands that eventually screwed the show. Or even you can say dexter is Dantes inferno and each season represents the seven layers of hell. Season 8 being purgitory.
