So, I get the front yard and the back yard mowed in like record history..one hour….yay me!!!! So, feeling very awesome, I drove my new fantastic lawnmower across the street to mow the lawn of my neighbors….They are elderly and cannot mow their grass….and they are very sweet….anyway….here I went…..the sun was shining ever so slightly, the birds were chirping a sweet little tune, a squirrel had even stopped his nut hunt to gaze upon the awesomeness that was me on that great machine, this mower and me were, by this time like old friends…..this was my new bestie……. Through the experience of cutting my own yard, I learned that If I saw a pinecone or other such large object in my way, I could place the mower in the neutral position, raise the blades and then hop off, remove said object from my path, then get back on the mower and resume my cutting mission….with little delay…..this was a wonderful feature that I had not experienced with my push mower..I mean as soon as you let go, it turned off and then you had to beg the thing to start back up again….. Yay for the neutral position…and for key start….lol And let me also mention that I choose to wear the very best protective gear which included, a tank top, basketball shorts that were a little big on me and my yard tennis shoes which were actually 10 year old shoes that were torn up with the soles coming off…. (keep the basketball shorts in mind for this next part…..
