So, I go to work last night still on a "high" from having had such an AWESOME birthday-party and all with my family...still receiving Happy Birthdays from people as they pass, feeling happy and content even from such an awesome day...walking to the locker room with a silly smile on my face as I recall the special moments that I shared with my family today...I walk into the break room to put my coffees in the fridge, still smiling, when I look over to the last table by the fridge and to my complete surprise, what do I see?? A beautiful HUGE cake with Happy Birthday Stacy written on it!! WHAT?? FOR ME?? Well, O my gosh...But, who...who thought so much of me to do this?? I hurried to put my coffees away as tears came to my eyes...then, I hurry to the meeting room and start asking my friends-Who bought me that cake? What cake?? they say...and a woman shouts-Look to the back...so I start scanning the seats, and to my surprise my friend Patricia Staples Pawlik-Trish as we call her-has her armed raised! You bought me this cake?? Yes, she says!! As I give her a hug I start tearing up again...nobody has ever done anything like this for me at work before! I sit down, tears still in my eyes and I start looking around and I start realizing...I am so blessed...there are some very amazing, caring, loving people that I work with...and they care about ME!! Thank you Trish!! That was a wonderful surprise......this is definitely one birthday day I will not forget......from the Happy Birthday wishes-in person and on face book-and birthday hugs from everyone, the surprise wake up birthday party with my family, and ALL of the home made birthday cards from my children and nieces and nephews-which they know are my favorite, and the 2 birthday banners made especially for me from my friend, to a HUGE birthday cake bought to work for me...yep, this has definitely been a most awesome birthday day and one I will not forget...This was THE BEST way to end such a wonderful love filled birthday day...I feel truly blessed and very loved!! Thank you sooo much everybody!! My birthday day was truly awesome.....*sigh*
