So I got a call this morning from the IRS saying that they had a warrant out for my arrest for a tax audit from 2010 and 2011. Stated they tried to deliver a registered letter 3 times and left a tag on the door. Since I never picked up the letter they closed my accounts, revoked my drivers license and I would be arrested in the next hour unless I paid right now?!?! Im like I have a tax person they should be notified. He said its my responsibility to pay taxes! Im like I do! I said this feels like a scam I need to look this up and call you back. No if you hang up you cant fix this by paying you will be arrested so get a lawyer quick! Well I hung up. Its been 3 hours and Im not arrested. It was for nearly $5,000 and I almost fell for it!! Watch out!
