So I got hit up with the hard question today from my son. Master 6:- Mummy how do babies get in your tummy? Me being hit from left field stumbled out:- daddy helps me (not my best response, but hoping that would be it, but nope), Master 6:- how does he help you? (Im thinking, Shit!!! Are we up to this stage already!! Surely your not up to wanting to know this yet!!!) So I ask how do you think it works?...... (allowing me enough time to Google how I best answer him, honestly but in a language he can get) after a long pause he says I think its like food, you and daddy go out and eat and thats how the baby gets in there!!! (Priceless) Me:- um nope mate, not quite! So armed with my new found knowledge of the best way to answer THE question (be it, from google) we had a lovely conversation about how babies REALLY get there. He answered with:- oh ok. I just want to say, I dont think I would like you to have another baby. Ba ha ha How did you handle THE question?And how old was your little one when they asked?
