So, I had a follow up visit with the doctor this morning. Everything looks good, with no sign of infection. The (preemptive) antibiotics have been fine and so far there havent been any adverse reactions. The doctor unwrapped my hand, soaked it, looked at it and re-wrapped it. Said keep taking Advil (its swollen and somewhat painful), keep it elevated and come back Tuesday morning. At the moment, Im glad my car is an automatic! Im going nuts not being able to paint. Before this happened, I had painted and distressed the pine chest of drawers that I posted the other day. I was able to wield the spray paint can left handed and spray the hardware. (Felt immensely awkward and probably took 4x longer to do than normal!) Tomorrow my husband will put the hardware back on it for me and load it into the car and Ill put it in the booth at The Picker Knows, if the good folks there will carry it in for me. (The French Provincial lingerie chest sold so now theres an empty spot.) Pics tomorrow. Thank you for all the well wishes!
