So I had something happen yesterday that I wanted to share with you all but I prayed about the words to say first because I wanted someone to be touched by it! I told a friend I would help her with some paperwork that really can be overwhelming but I wanted to help. Some of the stuff involved the social security office in Beaumont & we all know that is a nightmare. Well I knew what I was up against so I woke up extra early to fix my husband breakfast in bed for his birthday so I thought hey Im up, Im dressed, & Im going to literally get on my knees & pray about this situation. So I did just that I got down on my knees & started my prayer with giving thanks to God for all the things he does in my life; then I told him a wanted to be a blessing to everyone I met & give him all the praise & glory for all the good things coming our way & not to dwell on any bad or negative things. Well our first stop was a orthodontist visit for the twins. We had a 9am appt. & I wanted to be so early to the Social Security office so that was perfect. Then we got unexpected news that the girls teeth were worse than I thought Shelby actually has two teeth growing through the roof of her mouth & the both have jaw teeth growing in sideways. Poor babies I honestly never inspect their mouths so to me it was a Im a bad mom moment but I didnt let it get me down because I had to get them fixed & I know God will provide a way. Well they took molds, x-Rays, & records of their teeth so the appt. Took longer than expected we did not leave till 12:20 so now we have to eat lunch before we go to the SS office assuming they would be closed for lunch. We finally arrive to a room full of about 60 people. We take a # & wait! Waiting isnt my strongest attribute but I was determined to make the very best of it. My friend & I got to visit (thats a plus). We got to talk to people around us that had been waiting way longer than us. (Thats a plus) We really got to know each other more which was such a blessing! Then the time just slipped away in a flash & we were called back it had only been a hour & a half for the SS office thats really good! Since I had prayed God to send us the right people to work with us I knew window 16 was the right person! We sat down & at first she was professional but not only did we have sweet Southern charm on our side we had The Lord God Almighty! So within seconds window 16 was jumping hoops to help us even if some of the things she had to whisper she still did everything she could to help. God gave me the right questions to ask & God delivered exactly what we needed! We got the job done & were all happy & smiles when we left! We were able to do the rest of the business we had to do over the phone which was a joy but not a surprise because we knew God had this wrapped up in his love, grace, & mercy! We left thanking God for answered prayers & treated ourselves to a hot cup of coffee! I got home in plenty of time to cook a birthday dinner for my husband & celebrate with the best kids in the world by a warm fire & the sound of giggling children! I said all of this to remind you all that God can & will help you through any situation your going through! He will & can send the right people to help you! He can & will be with you while you walk through trials but please dont forget to thank him & give him all the glory! Please ask God to help then have peace that he will help you! Please tell others about him! Thank you Lord for whoever will be touched by this message because God I prayed before I posted this & I know someone needed to hear it.
