So I had such a lovely birthday :-) The spa was fab, I had to take a pic to prove I actually went in the outdoor hot tub!! It was surprisingly hot lol. No other cringe spa photos though, some things need to stay private and me in a bath robe and a bikini without make up on is staying private! The lunch they provided was fantastic!! Lots of healthy options, I did have a taste of the carbonara and moussaka and both were lovely. I filled up on the salmon though mainly. Then they did had a selection of desserts. I never have desserts but it was my birthday so I allowed some syns to have a try! They were only tiny little shot glasses, I tried the lemon cake and the syllabub. Yes they were nice but for me now Im totally in the sw groove, I can take or leave things like this. It was nice dint get me wrong, but that taste literally lasts seconds!! Feeling comfortable and happy in your own skin lasts a life time!! There really is no comparison. Id never ever go back to my old ways! I came home to these beautiful flowers from my fantastic team. So thoughtful! I love them!!!! Then dinner at my parents with my family was unreal!!!! My brother went online and created loads of different sw dishes!!!! Some he made up but the others were from the website. There was a Spanish type pork dish, a bacon and mushroom quiche, his version of nandos chicken and syn free chips, macaroni pasta cheesy pie, vegetable curry filo tarts, a gorgeous jambalaya/yuk sung flavour mince dish and a large feta and beetroot salad. How thoughtful is that!!!! Things like this mean so much to me. I do like material things and Im not going to apologise or be embarrassed about that. Having spent a lot of my life feeling gross and overweight I love buying nice things now and why not?!? But something that takes thought, consideration and time (he spent hours doing it all) to me is priceless and the best present ever. I tried a tiny bit of my bfs piece of my birthday cake then had quark with a satsuma and a salted caramel options sachet. Lol some might think this is sad but I dont care! I dont need cake to have a perfect birthday, I just need my family and friends and I got that. Thank you to all that wished me a happy birthday. Have a fab day. Mwah xxxx
