So I happily announce one of BARRKs first members ... Some of you may remember Girls now Gracie, pulled from BACC. I pulled her with SNARRNE and Courtney and I both agreed that dogs I was currently rehabing/fostering would be transferred from SNARR to BARRK as it is in their best interest to continue on with me and unnecessary to move them or cause any additional stress during their rehabilitation. Gracie is finally making a positive turn from a horrible bout with pneumonia. At only 6 mths of age (despite her size) Gracie was very undernourished and poorly cared for. She has double hip displaysia, the worst I have ever seen, and demodex mange. It simply is not the type of condition a dog this age should be in. Because of how severe her pneumonia is, we have opted to stop the oral ivermectin for now and will be doing a couple of medicated baths to help her mange. Gracie is a total cuddle bug and has been out of the hospital about a week now and making slow but steady improvement. Once she is completely over the pneumonia and mange she will undergo a double FHO with Dr. Tomas Infernuso, our amazing orthopedic surgeon. Please help Gracie by sharing her story and/or donating via PayPal at [email protected]. Thank you for helping Gracie!!!
