So I have a cousin that I used to babysit and whom Ive always really liked but with whom I have lost meaningful contact for most of the years past the babysitting him era. He happened to check in with me last night because hed heard about the Isla Vista incident. I told him we werent personally affected by that but that we were still dealing with Saylors accident. He first asked whos Saylor? and then asked for details. After telling him the saga, he offered her his extra ticket to see Paul McCartney with him at Candlestick Park in August and to give her a fun-filled four day weekend in the San Francisco Bay area. Also his girlfriend happens to be a social worker and a counselor, which is something Saylor has been asking for. What a super sweet turn of events and Saylor is so excited, being pretty sure she will get to see that show without her wheelchair.
