So I have a little analysis on M15 blue for future Mono U decks. Aeronaut Tinkerer- Not bad cost and with Hall of Triumph and some other great artifacts coming youll want an artifact on the field. Aetherspouts- Weird name but just seems like a really solid sideboard replacement for Cyclonic Rift or maybe main depending on how the meta shapes up. Chief Engineer- Decent blocker and, depending on what artifacts pop up, can be a really good card. Diffusion Sliver- if Slivers become a thing this dude is solid. Dissipate- Im so excited for this reprint and will be happy to play it over Dissolve. Encrust- Shuts down a good amount of cards that Mono U has to worry about, especially Polukranos and for a few months Desecration Demon. Ensoul Artifact- Again if Mono U becomes an artifact heavy deck this will be great. Frost Lynx- Its no Tidebinder but can be helpful. Hydrosurge- Excited for this reprint as well. Helps the deck out against plant of decks right now. Illusory Angel- Im still 50/50 on this one. While the reprint of Ornithopter will surely help this be a thing its still difficult to rely on. Invisibility- Very cheap devotion helper that can swing a game given the opportunity. Jace, the Living Guildpact- Theres a ton of hate on this card but I really think hell be a huge roleplayer in the future meta. Jalira, Master Polymorphist- Going to be much more powerful in a U/G build but can still turn 1 drops into something like Master of Waves which seems good. Master of Predicaments- I like this card but only if the deck switches to a more mid-range style because right now everything in the deck is less than 5 so it would be very easy for the opponent. Military Intelligence- I think this card will be able to see play. One is decent but multiples is just crazy and not hard to achieve. Paragon of the Gathering Mists- I think this would fit very well into the midrange version but a little too slow for the current build. Polymorphists Jest- Holy hell this card.. Gets around hexproof, monsters, pack rat and friends, mono u, mono g, and pretty much any deck with creatures. Quickling- I like the potential of this card and think it will be constructed worthy. Statute of Denial- Solid counter but dont know how good it is. Mostly because of inexperience. Turn to Frog- This card is sweet. Just like Jest it takes care of a lot of problematic creatures. Although now that Jest is a thing I dont know how good this will be. Void Snare- Since Ajani, Garruk, and Nissa are going to be huge this will likely be main deck but at least sideboard since rift is leaving.
