So I have had about enough, yes a person died falling from a roof on a windy day. Yes maybe some protocol wasnt followed. Why was he up there? Many people go to work to collect a paycheck, as construction nears down this was probably one of their last job for the season, trying to get one last good paycheck before they all go on unemployment!! If you all recall the last few weeks havent been good for any work outside rain sleet snow, and deadlines!! I do dangerous work to and go to work to collect a paycheck, get on roofs without a harness, walk in abandon houses that our near collapsing and do it all with out a blink of an eye because its my job and I have become well aware of the risk I take and chances I take. Yes its sad to hear that a guy so young lost his life cause he or the company made a wrong decision, but when some people need to make a dollar to feed and support their family they must suit up an go to work no matter what!!! Very frustrating how everyone has such a opinion on something they know the full story about. Like you never wore a seatbelt to run down the street, or put on safety glasses to use a grinder or use a saw, risk are risk and when you take them, you take full responsibility for the possible out come. Even with a harness on injury can happen, falling and getting tangled in the safety rope, rope tearing on roof edge. For god sake just stop, accidents happen every day, for every action there is a reaction, some good some bad. With all the opinionated people in the world and the know everythings, yet we have government shut downs, poor and homeless people. Kids that go to bed starving, a Medicare law that is bound to collapse, yet you all must judge one mans simple fault or even a companys lack of consideration and policy. I hope I never make a mistake that causes my family to have to hear from arrogant and opinionated people in this world. Just so damn frustrating!!!!
