So. I have made an important decision regarding my anime viewing habits today. ...I am not gonna change it. A friend of mine says he likes watching during the broadcast season so he has something to look forward to every week. But you know, I just finished five animes that ended this season in the last week or so and realized something: the impact is lessened. Youd think that numerous feelsy endings would break me, but instead it did the opposite. I felt disconnected, and could easily realize the most logical ending, which usually happens, thus reducing the emotional impact. I mean, sure, I cant seem to cry with anime, even with Clannad, but that doesnt mean I dislike feeling for the characters.. ._. ALL MY FAVORITE ANIMES ARE HIGH IN FEELS. Anyways, point is, even if its broadcasting, Im gonna do what I always did so far and wait for it to end. Watch at my pace, and get lost in the moment. xD And also as usual, sequel seasons to animes I already watched are exempt from this rule. This has been one of Otaku Ethans rants. I only show up if someone or something makes me think about anime so if you want me to rant more, just bring up a discussable question, be it a specific anime Ive seen or a genre in general. But please dont overdo it as I get VERY little real life stuff and work done in this state. I mean, I just spent 10 minutes writing this all out.
