So I have spent £230 on printing digital photographs, £75 spent on photographic paper, £80 spent on publishing two books, £21 spent on sketch books and £115 of my dads hard earned money spent on mount boards for all of these pieces of work and this is the result, 7 sketch books, 87 final prints and 2 books. Three days before I was due to come back to uni I lost the most important person in my life and I feel lost all the time, it feels so surreal, and at times I forget its even happened. But I have poured everything I have into my art work for this semester, I dont care if it sounds like bragging or if it sounds like Im up my own arse because Im so proud of the work Ive managed to produce in the little time Ive had and with the situation Im in as well, I see and hear countless people make excuses for the lack of work they have or my favourite because they have no money. If you can afford to go out every student night, every Friday night and every Saturday night then Im positive you can afford to actually spend your loan on the course you came here to study, I worked two jobs this semester and spent all my loan and my works money, not to mention any Christmas money that I was given, to the point that two days ago I had £0.00 left in my bank and I have not one single regret because I know no matter what grade Im given I did everything I could to achieve my goal. This doesnt detract from the fun you have with your friends because even without any money I always have an amazing time with my friends and my personal university experience has been beyond great so far. If youre willing to put in the hours then youll get it back ten fold! So Id like to thank my two inspirations for project one and two Yasemin and Kris because without the both of you, I wouldnt have a project anywhere near as meaningful and thank you to the numerous hours you put in modelling for me. Thank you to Sammi-jo for basically just being you, a wonderful and beautiful model for project 4 and friend to me always. To my nannie, thank you for being my inspiration and muse for project 3, my heart still aches with out you 💕 And finally Sheila Meddins and Wayne Meddins for always believing in me, for being my support, my backbone and my very best of friends I couldnt do any of this without your guidance 💕
