So I have to pause to wonder about our SCA life and how it impacts our sons. I love the SCA, but this year we really never got a non-SCA vacation. We had one weekend that we went camping with a Scout Troup & Cub Scout Pack. The kids got to swim, float on tubes down a river, Aiden & Phelan Tolusmidr got to dig garnets with the group. However no really cool destination vacation away for a week just as a family. We went to July Coronation and drove I-5 and got to wave across the water at Seattle, but did not have time to drive across the bridge and sight see. All our youngest son Sean wanted all weekend was to see tall buildings, and we had such a late time leaving the site and a long drive that we did not detour over the bridge to drive through Seattle. He was more disappointed than I realized here a month and a half later.
